Guitar Hero 4 Cheats - Instruments
by Guitar Hero Cheater
While we don’t have much yet for you in the way of Guitar Hero 4 Cheats because the game release is still several weeks away, information about Guitar Hero 4 starting to leak out more and more so we are able to bring you the latest news as it’s available. In this article we will discuss the new input controllers (instruments).
The latest incarnation of the Guitar Hero franchise, Guitar Hero 4 - World Tour, is moving from an individual player game to the multi-player band format of Rock Band (with some improvements). So, let’s talk about the new peripherals.
Microphone
The Guitar Hero 4 microphone controller is a pretty straight forward design. It is corded and does not have any control buttons so you will need a controller to opertate the gome. The mic is, however, movement sensitive and can be used to enter star power by shaking or tapping it.
Guitar
The specifics of the Guitar Hero 4 guitar controller are still being kept pretty tightly under wraps but a few secrets are beginning to leak out. The first noticeable change is the size of the guitar itself. It is substantially larger than the Guitar Hero 3 model so it looks and feels less like a toy and ore like a real instrument.
The most significant change lies with the neck touch pad. The neck pad is now movement sensitive, allowing you to bend and sustain notes as well as “tap” play. This gives you a lot more flexibility of play than just the whammy bar. If you are an old Guitar Hero 3 player, you can bring your old axe to the GH4 party but you won’t be able to use any of the new features with it.
Drums
The Guitar Hero 4 drum kit is arguably the better design of the game play drum kits presently on the market. Like the new guitar controller, the drum kit has a very realistic look, feel and response and is wireless. The wireless part doesn’t really help your game play but it does mean there will be less for your guitar player to trip over.
The drum kit consists of three drum heads, two elevated cymbals and a bass drum pedal, equating a standard drum kit of a snare, two toms, two cymbals and a kick drum. The height and head angles of the drum package are all adjustable so you can completely customize the feel of the set to your liking.
Compared to the Rock Band drums, these heads are a little larger at eight inches and, to the relief of your parents, significant other or neighbors, are substantially quieter. The drum heads are also force sensitive, meaning the harder they are struck, the louder the sound.
Cheats
With all of these new controllers, with all of their input features, I can only imagine all of the possible input combinations there will be to unlock all kinds of cool hidden Guitar Hero 4 Cheats. You can, however, rest assured, as soon as any hints, tips, tricks or cheats are uncovered, you will find them here.
